Giant dogs will enjoy happy dreams as they slumber in the Original Bed by Big Shrimpy, knowing their bed is as eco-friendly as it gets.

The zippered outer cover of the Big Shrimpy Original Bed combines water-resistant 420 denier nylon packcloth with a polyester fleece or faux suede sleeping surface. This outer cover surrounds an inner cushion made of ripstop nylon. The inner cushion is filled with SmartFill(tm), their 100% recycled fiber. The inner cushion is odor and water-resistant, but if necessary, the inner cushion can be unzipped to remove and wash the SmartFill. Of course, the outer cover and inner cushion are washable as well.

Outer Covers can be purchased separately for replacement or for a new look.

Big Shrimpy beds are made to last a really long time. But if for whatever reason you have finally decided that it's time for your worn-out, used-up Big Shrimpy bed to go, don't throw it out! Send it in! They will recycle the outer fabrics and SmartFill back into a reusable fiber. Just wash and dry all the Big Shrimpy bed components first (we recommend washing and drying the SmartFill at a laundromat), box it up, and mail it back to them. Happiness!
